I got tired of the brown, so the hair is screamingly violent red again. (I've stuck in a photo, but it's a self taken one, so really awful.
displacedtexan is a much better photographer than me.)

I apparently need to trim my bangs as well. ('Fringe' for you non-american folks.)
I've been getting ready for FenCon, and thinking about my reading. This is my first ever solo reading. ::shudders:: I'm currently planning on reading from Iron Shoes and Of Ambergris, Blood, and Brandy...a bit of each. I just hope people show up. I will have door prizes...and possibly chocolate....
Speaking of AB&B, the plot bunny keeps telling me that story isn't over, and that I should do a novel in that setting...that continues the story of Oriana and Duilio. And it's even partially outlined. The plot bunny is a harsh master, never wanting to work on the same assignment I want. Sheesh!
ETA: Am I the only person who remembers PS for Red Dawn? I haven't heard that mentioned on any of the memorial speeches...yet.

I've always felt that feeding the plot bunny is my main goal in life lately. It is a harsh taskmaster, and it's greedy and hungry. But better to have a demanding plot bunny than a lazy one.

I keep wondering if I can work on two novels at once after I get the second draft of DitD done, because I've got two outlined now, which is just bizarre.
But I'll keep supplying the flayrah....
No, I remember him for Red Dawn -- probably because it was one of his first real movies and in '84, it was pretty icon. (Okay, so it was a bit schlocky, too, but still -- it was the Cold War, man...) I was never a huge fan of his -- he was enjoyable to watch, but no one I'd run out to see, but that particular movie holds some memories. Of course, in retrospect I love the fact that he was playing an 18 or 19 yr old when he was 32.
And I'm glad that I'm not the only one who rememered that movie. It was schlocky, but you can also say that about DD and Ghost. Neither was a favorite of mine.
You'll do great at your reading, I wish I could be there. I like the hair!
Thanks for the good thoughts ;o)
